Brandi Kapell has devoted a tremendous amount of time and effort during her three years with the University of Regina’s Best Buddies chapter. 

She not only revived her chapter from the brink of closing, but went on to recruit 40 dedicated members!  She helped organize Halloween and pajama parties, fundraisers and most importantly (to Brandi) was the day visit from the University of Saskatchewan chapter. 

This event hosted more than 90 people, all coming together to celebrate friendships.  

Brandi believes that “Best Buddies is more than an excuse to hang out and have fun, although that is an added bonus, I see it as an opportunity to break down our own internal barriers and see people for who they truly are.” 

Brandi is transferring to the University of Calgary and has already touched base with the chapter there.
