I started Best Buddies last year as a Student Buddy with my match Whitney. We had so much fun together and really enjoyed going to lunch and playing Wii at my house. This year I am the Chapter President for the Banting Memorial High School branch of Best Buddies. I am still Buddies with Whitney and we love to go out for lunch and have dinner at my house.

This program has been very eye opening for me because it helped me to realize that the little things can make a huge difference in a person's life. I hope that I have had a positive impact on my Buddy and the rest of the students in the program.

This year, our chapter had a Winter Carnival where we played hockey, did snow painting, and had hot chocolate and cookies among other things. We have also had a bake sale fundraiser where we were able to raise more than $200 to support future events and activities for our Chapter.

Best Buddies had a very positive effect on my life and I am very grateful to have been given the title of Chapter President for Banting, and even more grateful to have found who I hope to be a life-long friend in my buddy Whitney.
