Best Buddies

My name is Margaret Muise. I been involved in Best Buddies for 3 years, and I have been a Buddy Advocate for 2 years.  I have a great three years with Best Buddies so far since I been with them. I am there for the buddies from September to May. My experience with Best Buddies has been great so far.

I am looking forward for this year to being in September in Saint John NB chapter. I hope we get more people involved this year. I like to help people that can’t do much for themselves or disadvantaged people so I love to help people. I have a lot of support at home from my husband Steven and family and friends outside of my home.

I am 31 years old. I have been married for 4 years in September 6th 2001 to a wonderful man. He is so good to me and others. I hope this year will be good for everyone.

Everyone is special in their own little ways. Everyone is special to me especially people that help me out a lot this year at the conference for the Best Buddies. My Buddy Michelle is so wonderful and understanding. She would probably give you her shirt off her back because that is how she is. She is there for me when I need someone beside Steven. These two people beside others I am really glad that I have a lot of people that I could trust and go to talk to about anything that is on my mind.
