This is my short story, thank you very much for recognizing the work of myself and my other members. Special mention also must be brought to Mrs.Venneri, as she is an important reason as to why our council comes together so nicely.
 
As cliché as it sounds, being an active member of Best Buddies has been one of the best things to happen to me. I have had the honour of being President, and Vice President and have loved every second of it. I have had the opportunity to partake in many dances, swimming activities, movies, and other great activities. The memories that I have experienced are something that will stay forever vivid in my mind.

The friendships I have made through Best Buddies are special bonds that can never be broken and I will always cherish these friendships, as each one has taught me something unique that I will take with me throughout my career.

It was through Best Buddies that lead me to want to pursue a career in special education as I hope to continue working with students with a range of disabilities to keep a smile on their face, just like being a part of Best Buddies has done for me.

Best Buddies is such a rewarding opportunity and I am truly blessed to have been a part of it at my high school, I look forward to continuing my participating in this organization throughout university as well.
