As part of the Chapters/Indigo Read All About It! event, this year buddies in Halifax competed in a poetry competition.  Buddy Jillian Arthur of the Mount Saint Vincent University chapter in Halifax won the competition this year for her poem Sparkling Lights and Stars and the Pretty Moon.  Congratulations for an outstanding poem, Jillian!

Sparkling Lights and Stars and the Pretty Moon
When I look up
In the sky, I see
The pretty moon
And stars
Are sparkling lights
In the ocean
Friends are for life
Forever
At night we have moon
Light walks by the
Ocean
The wind blows in my hair
Where I see the rainbow in the
Sky with all the different
Colours.
When I see boats in the ocean
Sailing in the water
I hear the birds up in the beautiful
Blue sky
Twinkling stars in your
Eyes
When I look out my window
It’s beautiful night every
Where the seas raising in the
Morning
                                                       Tears in your eyes coming down
                                                        In your cheeks.
