Originally introduced to Best Buddies by a co-worker who is actively involved with the Halton Down Syndrome Society, the Down Syndrome Association of Ontario (DSAO) and the Canadian Down Syndrome Society (CDSS), she reasons her involvement to a simple desire to help others in our community.  Being part of an organization that's aimed at giving people with intellectual disabilities the chance to have experiences which most of us take for granted is a wonderful experience and every effort to continue the success of programs like Best Buddies in Canada has inspired her to stay involved.
