Best Buddies Canada is proceeding with its expansion plans to meet its target of 200 chapters by 2010. As expected, these initiatives are important and costly.

By adopting a chapter, you can support the Best Buddies program, and help ensure Best Buddies expands into more communities.

You can adopt a chapter for a donation of $500 or more. 

With this contribution, your name will be attached to a chapter from the region of your choice:

• Western Canada
• Central Canada
• Maritimes/Atlantic Canada
• Or no preference

You will have an annual chapter update in the autumn, receive recognition on our web site and an official income tax receipt. Best Buddies-Vrais Copains Canada thanks you for your commitment to this fulfilling cause.

For students who are involved with Best Buddies and keeping up with a hectic school pace, it is not always easy to raise funds to do fun things for their chapter. Although fundraising is usually an excellent team building experience, not achieving fundraising goals limits the extent of community activities that are available for students and buddies. Being able to rent a minivan for a road trip or to attend a NHL hockey game could help to provide lifelong memories.

Group outings also help to encourage inclusion and Best Buddies public awareness.
